Entrepreneurial Orientation and Firm Performance among Automotive Parts Retail Firms in Zimbabwe: The Roles of Innovation Capability and Market Turbulence

The study aimed to investigate how entrepreneurial orientation influences the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) among automotive parts retail firms, while considering the roles of innovation capability and market turbulence. The study employed a quantitative cross-sectional design, with data collected from 204 MSME owners and managers who had at least three years of business experience. Data were obtained through an online structured questionnaire using purposive sampling and analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The Resource-Based View, Dynamic Capabilities Theory, and Contingency Theory served as the theoretical frameworks of the study. The results indicated that entrepreneurial orientation.
